Alright, so now for the numerous fun events that are happening!
The Cap-IM Reverse Big Bang has entered its posting phase so keep an eye on the comm for masterposts or on the collection to catch the latest collaborations going up and give our creators some love!
What that means as well is that the community has officially entered the writing and submission phase of the Big Bang this time! You have months ahead of you as the final submission deadline is set for September 23rd, with artists claiming on September 26th. The minimum wordcount for submissions is 25000 words! So get to your pens and keyboards stonies!
The community has also announced a special Stony Trivia Quizz! Team Sign-ups open May 9, with the quizz itself happening May 16 in the Cap-IM Challenges Discord server!
The Cap-IM Comment bingo Round 4 is open which will go on until October 31st. And stay tuned for another surprise community announcement sometime tomorrow!
The mods of the Marvel Blind Date event have launched sign-ups and prompting! It is a fandom wide event which they describe as being halfway between a bang and prompt meme. Indeed, sign-ups will be open all year, with the first prompts coming out at the beginning of June, and then new ones released every month. Writers and artists claim the ones they like and only begin working on them once a partner has claimed the same prompt they did! 10k minimum for writers, 2 pieces for artists.
The artist sign-ups for the Marvel Reverse Big Bang, are also open until May 22! This bang is a free-for-all, all ships welcome reverse bang, meaning artists come in first with art submissions due June 12 and writers will claim the art they would like to create for on July 3.
A Fairytale bingo was launched on tumblr! There are no sign-ups, no minimum requirements, all creators welcome and so for as long as they want as there are no deadlines either and all fandoms are allowed.
A new round of the Marvel Undercover prompt fest was announced earlier this week. The schedule is as follows:
Prompting from May 11 to 24, claiming from May 25 to June 28, and posting will start on June 29. This year’s theme is music!
The sign-ups of the Banned Together bingo, an anti-censorship and multifandom event have opened and will go on until May 23, the round will last until December 31.
The WIP Bang‘s author sign-ups closed last night, artists will be able to claim summaries June 17 with posting starting August 15.
The prompts for the Pepperony Week that will happen from June 20-26 have gone out! There are no minimum requirements to participate and all creators are welcome.
Exciting news as well is the Marvel Collab Cupid Server, a server to find collab partners of all kinds outside of the constraints of a bang or other challenge, was launched at the end of last month, you can join by following the link in the shownotes if that sounds like something you’d like!
There’s a brand new Marvel x Reader Fest (Exchange) held on tumblr and sign-ups are open until May 20 with works due July 25.
The Bucky Barnes Bingo is having late sign-ups until May 22. Go snatch a card if you missed it the first time!
And if you are more of an Ironhusbands, or SteveRhodey shipper or just adore Rhodey himself because he deserves it all the thousands, don’t forget that there will be a Rhodey Appreciation Week running from May 24 to May 30. The prompts are already out on the tumblr!
The Tony Stark Bingo, Cap-IM bingo, Cap-IM kink meme and Lights on Park Avenue are still open for participants’ sign-ups and/or contributions and the links to all these are still in the show notes of episode one.
